The contemporary design for this private house in Wentworth was greatly informed by the constraints of the site. The ridge height of the existing single-storey bungalow defined the overall height of any new proposal and, as such, informed the flat roof design. The irregular shape of the site also defined the approach to the layout, which was predominantly L-shaped.
At ground-floor level the design incorporated large, open-plan living spaces that led out onto external patio areas. At first-floor level there were six bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. A large basement under the whole of the ground floor footprint accommodated an indoor pool, gym, cinema, sauna and games room.
